Teaching Experience:
YPI at Suffield Academy (’09 – Present, Suffield, CT)
Created and taught a music curriculum focused on song writing, performing and recording. Students ages 12 to 17 wrote songs, arranged the songs for a full band, performed and recorded the songs with that band.
YPI at The University of Bridgeport (‘08 Bridgeport, CT)
YPI at The Westover School (‘05, ‘06, ‘07 Middlebury, CT)
Created and taught a curriculum on acting and dramatic literature. Students ages 12 to 17 prepared and presented scenes from a wide range of literature including Shakespeare, Thornton Wilder, and Tom Stoppard.

82nd Street Academics (’05 Jackson Heights, NY)
Developed, wrote and taught curriculums in music and theatre for grades K through 8. The mission was to enrich the academic education of the students and better qualify them for higher education.

Barrington High School (‘02 Barrington, RI)
Created and taught a curriculum on Shakespeare. Primary focus was activating Shakespearean thought and language through voice, speech, and movement technique Students from 14 to 17 years of age studied and presented scenes from The Merchant of Venice, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, and Julius Caesar.

Maine Shakespeare Festival: Young Actors Training Program (‘01 Bangor, ME)
Directed Romeo and Juliet with a cast of students ranging from 14 to 17 years of age. As at Barrington, my primary focus was activating Shakespearean thought and language through voice, speech and movement technique.

Shenandoah Conservatory (‘96-‘98 Winchester, VA)
Taught voice and vocal technique for both singers and actors to other students under the supervision of the voice faculty.

French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts (‘94-‘95 Hancock, NY)
Taught private lessons in music, drums, percussion, and voice. Coached students preparing instrumental and vocal performances.

Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church (‘99-‘00 Winchester, VA)
Professional tenor section leader and featured tenor for the church choir. Responsibilities included teaching the repertoire to the tenors.
